Should This Be a Meeting?

I love this graphic from Loom.

Loom is one of my go-to tools because sometimes an email or Slack message won't convey a message I am trying to send effectively.

When email or Slack won't suffice, a lot of people will default to, 'Can we meet about this?'

My default is, 'Can I send a Loom about this to avoid a meeting?'

Even though Loom is better keep these tips in mind when creating your video:

- Be respectful of the other person's time - most people can't pay attention to 10 minute videos.
- Be concise - don't try to cover too many things at once. It's hard to follow.
- Be considerate - slow down your clicking and talking as super fast clicking and multiple screens are dizzying to keep track of.
